Introduction
Gate valve is a kind of cut-off valve, mainly used for flow shutting on or off. In the process of valve open, it is easy to produce vortex at the back of disc. This will cause disc erosion and vibration and also damage sealing surface of seat ring. Therefore, gate valves are normally not suitable for frequently shutting open and close. And it needs to maintain full open or full close condition. Gate valves shall not apply to use as adjusting and throttling function.
Body and bonnet adopt flange connection. Body section of 150LB and 300LB valve are oval, but connecting flange of 300LB valve is round. Class over 300LB body section is round. Round section owns better abilities to bear pressure and resist deformation
Disc and seat ring sealing surface should overlay different alloy material according to different working conditions in order to meet using requirements of valves.
Equip different actuators according to different pressure and specifications and also could equip actuators according to customers' requirements.
